Abstract:

The master’s thesis focuses on the adaptation of the existing building, which includes modifications of the existing building and the design of a new extension. The aim of the thesis is the adaptation of the existing building to a medical centre, increase the floor area and reduce the energy consumption of the building. The thesis is divided into three main parts.
The first part is architectural and structural design, which includes demolition works, new thermal insulation, replacement of windows, and a complete design of the extension. The new layout includes three medical workplaces with facilities for patients and staff on the first floor and open space office on the 2nd floor with access to the roof terrace. It also includes a design a parking spaces and a lifting platform for barrier-free access to the second floor.
The second part focuses on building service design. A source of heating and domestic hot water is air-water heat pump. The heat pump will also provide cooling of the building in the summer. This part also includes design of mechanical ventilation with heat recovery, energy-saving lighting, rainwater management and design of photovoltaic panels.
The third part of the Master’s thesis focuses on energy optimization of the proposed conversion of the existing office building into a medical centre. The outcome of this part is a proposal of two conversion variants: nearly zero-energy conversion and zero-emission conversion.

Studentka formou prezentace představila jsou diplomovou práci. Následně v rámci prezentace reagovala na otázky oponenta: Výkres C.3 – Jakým způsobem byl navržen počet parkovacích stání? - Skladba vegetační střechy – Jak je ve skladbě řešena ochrana proti prorůstání kořínků rostlin? - Z jakého důvody byly navrženy fotovoltaické panely nad přístřeškem parkovacího stání, a ne například na plochou střechu přístavby? - Optimalizace stavebně konstrukčního řešení – Nebyla by další možná varianta odstranění stávající betonové mazaniny tl. 80 mm a původního EPS 60 mm, který by byl nahrazen izolací stejné tloušťky s lepší , např. PIR, vakuovou apod.? Jak by tato varianta vycházela v porovnání s navrženými variantami? - Nezvažovala jste místo navržených otopných těles a podlahových konvektorů pro vytápění a fancoilů pro chlazení navrhnout jeden společný systém, který by zajišťoval vytápění i chlazení? Např. čtyřcestné fancoily nebo plošný systém. V rámci reakce studentky na otázky oponenta položila komise následující dotazy: Kam zmizela zeleň v jihovýchodní části pozemku. Bude provedeno kácení dřevin z důvodu stínění FVE? Řešila jste pokles dotykové teploty u podlahy? Studentka s dokonalým přehledem zaujímala odborná stanoviska ke všem připomínkám oponenta a výborně reagovala i na všechny otázky členů komise, které byly k obhajované práci položeny. Na všechny otázky položené členy komise v rámci odborné rozpravy odpověděla studentka výborně a s dokonalým přehledem. Prokázala tak vysokou úroveň nabytých vědomostí ze studovaného oboru.
