Abstract:

The aim of this master’s thesis is to design a two-storey leisure centre with a cafe. The building is a detached structure. The first floor contains cafe, shared entrance spaces, technical facilities, and classrooms of the leisure centre. The second floor contains additional classrooms, a playroom, an administrative office, and a kitchen for staff and visitors. The building has load-bearing wall structural system with horizontal structures made of prestressed monolithic reinforced concrete slabs and it has a flat roof. The structure is founded on strip footings, while the elevator is founded on a foundation slab.

The second part of the thesis focuses on the concept design of building services systems. The primary heat source is a ground-to-water heat pump, which also partially provides cooling during the summer period. Additionally, an air-conditioning unit is designed to cover the remaining cooling load. Air exchange is ensured by mechanical ventilation units with heat recovery. The incoming supply air is heated to the room temperature using an air-to-water heat pump. Domestic hot water preparation is provided by the same heat pump. Photovoltaic panels installed on the roof partially cover the building’s electricity need. Lighting in the building is designed using various types of LED lights with automatic control. All rainwater is used for wattering or absorbed by the soil on the site.

The third specialized part focuses on the assessment of selected construction details in terms of heat transfer. First assessment compares a window installed before outer edge of  the wall and window installed at the outer edge of the wall. It also compares covered and exposed shutter boxes and compares the effect of using different thermal insulation materials in the area of a lintel. The second assessed detail is the entrance canopy. This part compares a canopy anchored to mounting blocks on the facade, a canopy formed by an offset slab wrapped in thermal insulation, and a concrete canopy with a thermal break element.

Student formou prezentace představil svou diplomovou práci. Následně reagoval na otázky oponenta: - Výkres A.3.2 – Chybí zakreslení spádování zpevněné plochy parkoviště. - Výkres A.5.7 – Ve výkresu jsou zakresleny kotvící body záchytného systému, které nejsou blíže specifikovány. Jak byste řešil bodový tepelný most způsobený kotvícím bodem? - Tepelná technika – Jakým způsobem jsou ve výpočtu zohledněny talířové hmoždinky v kontaktním zateplovacím systému? - Porovnání detailů okna – Jak byly zvoleny rozměry b pro konstrukce 1-3 (v softwaru) pro výpočet lineárního činitele prostupu tepla? Zakreslete do schématu výpočetního modelu jednoho z hodnocených detailů. - Porovnání variant stříšek – Jak se liší varianty z finančního pohledu? Jak vypadá porovnání cena – tepelná ztráta u jednotlivých variant. Student s velmi dobrým přehledem zaujímal odborná stanoviska ke všem připomínkám oponenta a velmi dobře reagoval i na všechny otázky členů komise, které byly k obhajované práci položeny.
