Abstract:

The aim of this master’s thesis is to prepare a feasibility study for a small hydropower plant at the existing Křenovice weir on the Rakovec stream at river kilometre 1.534. The purpose of the proposal is to utilise the site’s hydropower potential for electricity generation while maintaining the weir’s existing water-management functions. The study assesses two technical design alternatives (VAR 1 and VAR 2), which differ mainly in the routing and length of the penstock and in the location of the turbine assembly in the downstream reach. The thesis includes a technical report, hydraulic and hydro-energy calculations, design drawings, photographic documentation, and visualisation of the proposed solution.

Student seznámil komisi s obsahem své diplomové práce. Po přečtení posudků vedoucího a oponenta práce studenta odpověděl na dotazy uvedené v posudcích. V rámci rozpravy byly položeny studentovi následující dotazy: 1. Hodák - Jaká je návratnost investice? Jaká je oproti tomu životnost zařízení (především baterií)? 2. Jandora - Jaká je účinnost soustrojí nebo jednoho zařízení? 3. Šoltész - Bylo toto zařízení někde realizováno? Jaká je odkupní cena energie? 4. Kozubík - Jaká je uvažována manipulace na jezu při provozu? Jaká je stávající funkce jezu? Student v rámci obhajoby odpověděl na všechny položené dotazy.
