Abstract:

This master’s thesis deals with the project documentation for a new library building in Litomyšl. The proposed building is located on the outskirts of the town in an area designated for schools and other educational purposes. The building is designed with three above-ground floors and one underground floor. The basement is intended for the building’s technical facilities and storage. The first above-ground floor contains a café and lecture halls. The second and third above-ground floors serve as the library with study areas. Offices are also located on the third floor.
Structurally, the building is designed as a cast-in-place reinforced concrete frame with an 8 × 8 m structural grid, founded on strip footings and piles. The building envelope consists of a glazed façade. The infill walls are made of aerated concrete blocks.
The thesis includes project documentation for construction, including studies and visualizations.

Studentka si připravila prezentaci na téma své diplomové práce s názvem Knihovna. Součástí prezentace byla lokalizace objektu, základní popis objektu, konstrukční, dispoziční a architektonické řešení s vizualizacemi. Studentka si připravila odpovědi na otázky oponenta, které byly zahrnuty do prezentace. Doplňující otázky zkušební komise: - Jak bude probíhat údržba střešních vtoků pod FVE instalací. - Dilatace výtahové šachty, typ zdroje hluku. - Způsob řešení nosné konstrukce u ustupujícího podlaží, volba podpory vs konzoly. - Neprůvzdušnost LOP. - Způsob užívání např. pro maminky s kočárkami. - Zajíštění minimální světlé průchozí výšky. - Jak vysoko má být vyvedena hydroizolace nad prostup rovinou ploché střechy (např u světlíku). Studentka se snažila vcelku velmi dobře reagovat na připomínky oponenta a zdůvodňovat svoje navrhovaná řešení, rovněž na většinu otázek členů komise k předložené práci reagovala velmi dobře.
