Abstract:

The diploma thesis focused on the design of foundation pit support for a proposed building located in a built-up area. The thesis compares two alternative solutions fo foundation support – a soldier pile and lagging wall and a pile wall. Both variants are designed and statically assessed with respect to the geotechnical conditions of the site and spatial constraints of the construction area. The structural assessment is carried out using specialized geotechnical software. The thesis also includes an economic evaluation of the proposed solutions based on prepared cost estimates. Based on the comparison of technical and economic criteria, the most suitable variant of foundation pit support is selected. The thesis is supplemented by a detailed structural analysis, economic evaluation and drawing documentation.

Bc. Vanesa Vavrisová obhajovala diplomovou práci na téma "Návrh zajištění stavební jámy". Po prezentaci práce a přednesení posudků reagovala na dotazy a připomínky vedoucího a oponenta práce a dále na tyto otázky: Je každá z pilot zakotvena? V které části vyšly vyšší hodnoty deformace? Proč by vzhledem k hodnotám deformací autorka volila záporové pažení? Jak vznikly hodnoty geotechnických parametrů hornin? Kdo zodpovídá za návrh geotechnické konstrukce? V rámci obhajoby odpovídala studentka velmi dobře.
