The aim of my Master’s thesis is to design an energy-efficient office building to be constructed in Kroměříž. The building is designed as a four-story structure with three above-ground floors and one basement level. The entrance leads through a vestibule into a corridor, from which office spaces are accessible on one side and the service area on the other restrooms, kitchens, a dining area, and a meeting room. Part of the third above-ground floor is set back to form a terrace, and the basement contains the utility facilities. The structural system is designed as a reinforced-concrete frame of columns with cast-in-place floor slabs. Two external walls are masonry, while the remaining two façades are designed as glass curtain walls. The layout is formed by plasterboard and glass partitions, allowing for future rearrangement. The roof is designed as a flat green roof. Both the heating and cooling source is designed as a ground source heat pump, with distribution provided by a combination of fan-coil units and radiators. Mechanical ventilation with heat recovery is used, and part of the electrical energy will be generated by photovoltaic panels installed on the roof. Rainwater is collected in a storage tank and used for irrigation. Third part of the thesis examines how much sediment and dirt wash off green roofs into storage tanks. Measurements were carried out on a test facility operated by DEK a.s., using visual analysis of filtered water samples. Results show that a mature two-year-old green roof releases only a small amount of visible sediment during typical rainfall events, while newly built systems produce a clearly higher sediment load, indicating ongoing erosion of the substrate over time. Heavy rainstorms cause a significantly larger amount of sediment to wash off mature roofs, showing that rain intensity strongly affects water quality. In one comparative test, runoff from a regular roofs without vegetation showed lower visible contamination than on green roofs, suggesting that green roofs add organic material and fine particles to the runoff rather than clean it. The collected rainwater appears most suitable for garden watering and would require additional treatment for other uses.

6. Důvod tloušťka svitlých kontrukcí? 7. Základ pod schodištěm. 8. Skladba vegetační střechy. Kde je umístěna PVC folie? Umístění vtoku. V rámci odborné rozpravy student zodpověděl dobře většinu otázek položených členy komise. Prokázal průměrné znalosti studovaného oboru.
