Abstract:

The subject of this Master‘s thesis is the design of an energy-efficient cultural center building in Vikýřovice. The thesis is divided into three parts.
The first part focuses on the architectural and structural design of the building. It is a two-storey building with a flat roof. The vertical load-bearing system consists of ceramic masonry, and the exterior walls are insulated with mineral wool. The vertical structures are designed as prefabricated elements made of prestressed concrete panels. The main public entrance is located on the western side of the building. The entryway leads to a foyer, which provides access to the main hall, cloakroom, a café, sanitary facilities, and a staircase to the second floor. The second floor contains a small hall, a balcony, and additional sanitary facilities. A separate entrance for staff is designed, providing access to offices and the technical section of the building.
The second part deals with building services, including heating, cooling, domestic hot water preparation, mechanical ventilation, artificial lighting, rainwater management, and the design of a photovoltaic system. Heating and cooling demands are met by air-to-water heat pumps. Mechanical ventilation is provided by three air handling units with heat recovery. The Energy Performance Certificate, categorized as A, is part of the thesis.
The third part of the Master’s thesis focuses on the experimental measurement of filtration efficiency of nonwoven fabrics. The aim was to verify whether these fabrics can be used as filters in mechanical ventilation systems and to classify them according to the ČSN EN ISO 16890 standard. A test duct made of spiral ducting equipped with a fan was used for the measurements. Ten nonwoven samples of different basis weights and material compositions were tested. For each sample, the particle number downstream was measured using a Fluke 985 particle counter and compared with a reference particle number obtained with an empty test duct. The filtration efficiency of each sample was determined in six particle size fractions, and the samples were then subsequently assigned to the corresponding classes. Sample V6 (EV-lon 60), made of a polyester–polyamide blend, achieved class ISO ePM2,5, and sample V7 (MSM 60), made of 100% polyester, achieved class ISO ePM10. These fabrics can be used as filters in spaces with short-term occupancy. The remaining samples were classified as ISO Coarse, i.e. coarse filters suitable for use as prefilters.

2. Měření a regulace VZT. 3. Ohřev teplé vody a jeho terminologie. 4. Měření účinnosti filtrů a výstup měření do praxe. 5. Dispozice objektu a užívání místností. 6. Akustika v sálech a umístění jeviště. 7. Schéma zapojení TZB technologií. 8. Umístění ventilů a jejich ovládání pomocí MaR. Studentka výborně reagovala a zaujala stanoviska ke všem připomínkám k předložené diplomové práci od oponenta i členů komise.
