Abstract:

This master´s thesis focuses on the design of a new low – energy office building located in Brno. The thesis is structured into three parts. The first, building part, presents the architectural concept, functional layout and the structural design of the building with an emphasis on operational functionality and energy efficiency.
The second part focuses on building services and deals with the design of selected systems ensuring quality indoor evnironment, especially heating, ventilation and domescit water supply, including their integration with the operational require-ments of an office building.
The third part, focuses on the comparison of three software tools for designg HVAC systems: Autodesk Revit, Graphisoft Archicad and Graitec Cadkon. The main goal was to assess their suitability for HVAC design in terms of user experience, du-ctwork and component customization, calculation tools, coordination with other disciplines, outputs and documentation quality, data compatibility and finally soft-ware cost.  The applied research methods include analytical comparison, practical modelling and assessment of design efficiency. Each software was used to create a sample duct route, which was assessed according to selected criteria. The compari-son showed that software Revit best meets the requiements for modern HVAC sys-tem design, mainly due to its advanced BIM integration, analytical tools and effecti-ve coordination with other specialization, so it was selected at the most suitable software. The results of this part were subsequently applied in HVAC design of the designed building. For example by sizing the ductwork and subsequently producing drawing in this area.

Process of defence

2. Jaký byl důvod mírného přetlaku VZT. 3. Důvod využití zemních vrtů. 4. Jaké zatřízení bylo využito při vyhodnocení programů. 5. Okrajové podmínky při vypracování srovnání výpočetních a projekčních programů. 6. Příprava pro montáž a usnadnění realizace. 7. Důvod umístění schodiště mimo výstupní dispozici. 8. Teplota v interiéru při návrhu chlazení a otopné soustavy. Studentka velmi dobře reagovala na připomínky oponenta i členů komise a snažila se zdůvodnit navržená a použitá řešení.
