This Master’s thesis focuses on the design of a shopping centre located in the city of Brno, with an emphasis on a comprehensive building and building services solution. The main objective of the thesis is to develop a building design together with the design of selected building services systems. The thesis is divided into three main parts. The first part of the thesis deals with the architectural and structural design of the building, including the layout design, fire safety concept, and building physics assessment. The second part of the thesis focuses on the design of building services systems. It includes the design of the air-handling system, lighting, heating and cooling sources, and the use of renewable energy sources through a photovoltaic system. The design of individual systems is based on the requirements for ensuring a high-quality indoor environment, reducing energy demand, and achieving reliable building operation. The third part of the thesis presents a comparison of three types of air-handling units serving the sales area, namely a unit with a plate heat exchanger, a unit with a rotary heat exchanger, and a rooftop air-handling unit. The individual variants are evaluated in terms of investment and operating costs in relation to the efficiency of the respective systems. The results of the comparison show that the unit with a plate heat exchanger represents the lowest investment option; however, from the perspective of efficiency and long-term operation, it is not the most suitable solution for the proposed building. The air-handling unit with a rotary heat exchanger appears to be the most suitable option for the designed building, primarily due to its favourable balance between efficiency, investment payback, and operational performance.

2. Nevýhody rotačního výměníku. 3. Provozní režim vytápění VZT objektu. 4. Návrh FVE a spotřeba elektrické energie. 5. Ošetření tepelných čerpadel proti zamrznutí. 6. Čím se řídí výkon výměníku v zadaném schématu. 7. Akustika v prostoru objektu. Student vcelku dobře reagoval na připomínky oponenta i členů komise k předložené diplomové práci a snažil se obhájit většinu svých řešení.
