Abstract:

The subject of the master´s thesis was the preparation of project documentation for a library building with a café. The design also includes a lecture room with study rooms and a reading room. The building is located on a plot of land in Hradec Králové near the city center. The building is structured in height, with three above-ground and one underground storey. Structurally, it is a reinforced concrete monolithic construction with infill masonry made of ceramic blocks and a ventilated facade with facing masonry. The perimeter shell is partly made of a lightweight perimeter shell. The building is covered with a flat roof. The design also includes an assessment from the point of view of building physics and fire safety.
