This thesis focuses on the development of a construction technology project for the Hostivař
National Long-Term Care Center. The primary objective of the thesis is to design the
organization and technological procedures of the construction process with an emphasis on
optimizing the construction schedule, ensuring the quality of construction activities, and
minimizing risks associated with the execution of the project.
The thesis comprises a technical report of the building, a proposal for the construction
site layout, a construction schedule and financial plan, a study of the implementation of the
main technological stages, and technological regulations for the substructure and monolithic
reinforced concrete structures. The proposed solution further includes the selection and
design of the main construction machinery and equipment, a material supply plan, a quality
control and testing plan, as well as an occupational health and safety plan.
In addition, the thesis addresses environmental aspects of construction, including measures
aimed at protecting the indoor environment of the building during the construction
phase and the evaluation of selected LEED certification criteria. The outcome of the thesis
is a comprehensive construction technology design that provides a solid basis for the
efficient, safe, and high-quality execution of the assessed construction project.
