This diploma thesis focuses on the preparation of the construction phase of a building project involving the extension of a chimpanzee pavilion within a zoological garden, as well as modifications to the outdoor enclosure to enable approval for keeping chimpanzees in this exhibit. The aim of the thesis is to propose a comprehensive technological and organizational solution for the construction process, considering spatial, time-related, technical, personnel, and safety aspects. The thesis includes a technical report for the construction technology project, a coordination layout of the construction site with related traffic connections, and an object-based time and financial construction plan. Furthermore, the work presents a study of the main technological stages of the building, a design of site facilities including a schedule for their installation and removal, and an economic evaluation of related costs. Part of the thesis is devoted to the selection and scheduling of the main construction machinery and equipment, as well as to a detailed construction schedule, financial plan, and evaluation of production resources. The thesis also contains a technological procedure for the execution of monolithic reinforced concrete vertical structures, a quality control and testing plan for selected key construction processes, an occupational health and safety plan, and a maintenance plan for structures exposed to an aggressive environment. In the final part of the thesis, a specialization is addressed that focuses on the design of modifications to the outdoor enclosure in order to meet the requirements for keeping chimpanzees. The appendix section presents the detailed design of the proposed measures and modifications within the enclosure area. The result of the thesis is a comprehensive proposal for the preparation of the construction phase, which can serve as a basis for the implementation stage of the project.
