This diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the real estate market and its development in a selected location of the statutory city of Brno. In the introductory part, the thesis deals with the definition of basic terms and systematization of terminology in the real estate market. The next part analyses the development of the market in the Czech Republic and especially in Brno. The most comprehensive part of the thesis includes the analysis of the offer and market prices and their development during the monitored period, as well as aspects influencing the offer price. The analysis deals with various locations of Brno, including peripheral city districts. The main objective is to map the current state of the real estate market and the current market prices of apartments in Brno, to identify the key factors influencing the development of the market and the formation of the offer price. The thesis uses a combination of quantitative and qualitative research methods, including statistical data analysis. The results of the thesis provide a comprehensive view of the local real estate market.
