Abstract:

The thesis focuses on a comprehensive survey of urban development and socio-economic trends in the population, providing a contextual description of spatial planning tools, Czech construction legislation, historical context, and the current state of affairs. It also addresses the basic aspects of projects, specifically construction investment projects and selected aspects of the project life cycle. Based on these findings, a survey is conducted among the youngest adult generation to provide a general overview of their ideas about housing. The thesis includes an economic analysis of a land development project in a satellite town. Based on the surveys and analyses, a specific project and the long-term viability and feasibility of similar projects are evaluated.

Závěrečnou práci obhajoval jasně a srozumitelně. Z jeho přednesu bylo patrné, že k úkolům, které řešil, přistupoval velmi zodpovědně. Na otázky členů komise odpověděl pohotově a s přehledem. Rovněž na doplňkové otázky odpověděl správně a jasně. Státní zkušební komise závěrem konstatovala, že student svou závěrečnou práci obhájil na výborné požadované úrovni.
