Abstract:

This thesis focuses on the management of a real estate development project with
an emphasis on residential development in the Czech Republic, framed within the
post-COVID period. The aim is to describe and structure the development project
management process across its life cycle and to verify how changes in market
conditions are reflected in practice through a specific residential project. The
analytical part evaluates the price development of selected construction materials
in the context of macroeconomic factors and compares the results with findings
from a small survey among developers. Subsequently, a case study of a selected
development project is presented, including an analysis of sales performance and
the evolution of apartment unit prices, together with a comparison to the Brno new
build residential market.

Závěrečnou práci obhajoval jasně a srozumitelně. Z jeho přednesu bylo patrné, že k úkolům, které řešil, přistupoval velmi zodpovědně. Na otázky členů komise odpověděl pohotově a s přehledem. Rovněž na doplňkové otázky od oponenta odpověděl správně a jasně. Státní zkušební komise závěrem konstatovala, že student svou závěrečnou práci obhájil na výborné požadované úrovni.
