This thesis focuses on the design and implementation of an intelligent bee keeping system that allows the beekeeper to easily monitor and track hive and colony health. The system is based on the ESP32 platform, with individual modules providing data collection from various sensors such as scales, temperature sensors, microphone and gyroscope, preparing the gyroscope for future implementation of protection functions. Data from the sensors is transmitted via wireless communication to the central ESP32 module, which serves as a data bus and allows data to be stored on a microSD card. The central bus also provides communication with the mobile application developed in the Android Studio environment. This application allows easy management of the sites and the hives themselves and provides access to the measured data. The whole system is designed to be scalable and adaptable to the needs of the beekeeper and the scale of his site.

Student prezentoval výsledky své práce a komise byla seznámena s posudky. Student obhájil diplomovou práci a odpověděl na otázky členů komise a oponenta. Otázky: Je nutné použít tříosý gyroskop a akcelerometr pro detekci manipulace s úlem, jak se píše v kap. 2.3.4 na str. 25? Není možné k tomuto účelu využít implementované tenzometry nebo jen jednoduchý spínač? Jaké má použití tříosého gyroskopu a akcelerometru výhody?
