The diploma thesis focuses on an architectural study of the restoration of the historic center of the village of Hostěradice. The subject of the proposal is the revitalization of the main square, the restoration of the historic town hall (building no. 52), and its surrounding area. The thesis also includes a proposal for a new functional use of the building. The aim is to revitalize the existing structure with an emphasis on appreciating its qualities and preserving its historical and cultural legacy. The cornerstone of the proposal is the Renaissance town hall building, dated to the early 15th century. The key to its revitalization was finding a new functional use, which includes a restaurant, spaces for small businesses, a space for a children’s group, club rooms, and multifunctional areas for cultural and social events. An integral part of the design are also two new buildings that reference the historical, now-lost development, and complete the street frontage using traditional volumes. The first of these is a mixed-use building that houses a new club gym and four duplex starter apartments. The second is a family house with two separate apartments. A crucial part of the proposal is also the revitalization of the square, which aims to reduce the impact of traffic load, increase safety, and improve the quality of the public space. Through the reorganization of the traffic layout, a new clear intersection and a one-way street along part of the square's perimeter have been created, including solutions for static traffic and public transport stops. The public space is enhanced with greenery that improves the microclimate and contributes to human psychological well-being. Thus, an old space is opened up to the public in a new, more welcoming, organized, and aesthetically pleasing form.

Student úvodem prezentoval svůj projekt Revitalizace historického jádra Hostěradic. Byly přečteny posudky vedoucího a oponenta diplomové práce. Student reagoval na dotazy a připomínky oponenta a uvedla k nim podrobnější vysvětlení svého návrhu. Následovala odborná rozprava s dotazy komise: Umístění provozu dětské skupiny do objektu jste si zvolil sám a pokud ano na základě jakých podkladů?
