The diploma thesis focuses on designing a universal automatic workpiece changing system for small CNC turning centers with horizontal and vertical spindle axes. Literature research of existing solutions is followed by a system analysis and the design of three system variants, one of which has been selected based on the evaluation and elaborated in detail. The thesis includes technical calculations, design of the main parts of the system and economic and technical evaluation of the solution.
