This bachelor’s thesis focuses on comparing rental housing prices and parameters in the cities of Prostějov and Olomouc during the period from October 2024 to January 2025. The aim is to analyze differences in rental prices based on various factors such as apartment size, structural design, property condition, and location. The study also compares parameters such as the number of available listings, availability of private parking, energy efficiency, and type of ownership. The introductory part of the thesis describes the characteristics of both cities, including their demographic development, rental housing market, wages, and unemployment rates. This is followed by an analysis of advertised rental prices by category and their evaluation. The results provide an overview and highlight interesting differences between the two cities in terms of rental availability and price levels.
