This bachelor thesis focuses on the preparation of graphene membranes and their modification by hydrogen beam. Graphene appears to be a suitable material for functional devices, but its capabilities may be limited by the influence of the substrate. In the first part, the basic properties of graphene, membranes and graphene functionalized with hydrogen are initialy introduced. In the second part, membrane preparations on SiO2 and TEM grids are described. Subsequently, they are characterized and the grids are hydrogenated. Finally, the hydrogen coverage of graphene is measured by Raman spectroscopy.
