Abstract:

The subject of Master’s thesis is the variant redevelopment of cover crossroad, which is part of over-level junction of roads I/52 and II/152 near the village Želešice. The existing junctions are unsatisfactory in terms of capacity and long queues arise. The thesis contains a proposal of 3 variants, which are looking for different solutions to increase the capacityy of level crossings. Part of the thesis is a traffic survey, determination of traffic intensity, capacity analysis of current state and designed variants.

Process of defence

Student představil prezentaci diplomové práce. Prezentace byla dobře připravena a pěkně graficky zpracována. Byly přečteny posudky vedoucího a oponenta diplomové práce. Student následně zodpověděl dotazy položené v oponentském posudku. Následně komise položila tyto dotazy: - Nebylo by ekonomickým (vhodným) řešením prodloužení odbočovacího pruhu na hlavní silnici? Zodpověděl s přehledem. - Zamýšlel jste se nad příp. rizikovými situacemi, které tam mohou nastat v oblasti dopr. stínu? Zodpověděl. - Konstrukce prstence je řešena pouze z žulových kostek do kamenné drti, je nějaký lepší postup, jak to řešit? Zodpověděl. - Dala by se křižovatka řešit i nějak jinak, pomohla by signalizace? Zodpověděl Student na všechny dotazy pružně a sám reagoval.
