Abstract:

This master's thesis deals with the issue of traveling in public transport. In the first part the author informs about similar applications and theories necessary for understanding the problems. In the second part, the author describes the design and behavior of the mobile and server application, including the used technologies. Created mobile application has the task of navigating the user from one point to another in the shortest possible time, while it should be possible to replace the current route with faster one.

Process of defence

Student nejprve prezentoval výsledky, kterých dosáhl v rámci své práce. Komise se poté seznámila s hodnocením vedoucího a posudkem oponenta práce. Student následně odpověděl na otázky oponenta a na další otázky přítomných. Komise se na základě posudku oponenta, hodnocení vedoucího, přednesené prezentace a odpovědí studenta na položené otázky rozhodla práci hodnotit stupněm dobře.

Otázky u obhajoby:

  • Popište přesněji, jak funguje implementace A* vyhledávání oproti vzorovému algoritmu ze sekce 4.3.2.
  • Proč je v kapitole 4 zmíněno hledání řešení pro hledání nejkratší cesty ze všech uzlů do zadaného uzlu, když potom v popisu implementace hovoříte o hledání ze zadaného uzlu?
