Pathological Physiology

Pathological physiology is a science about ethiology and pathogenesis of diseases and pathological states. The ability of pathophysiological thinking makes possible an insight into the logical basis of clinical manifest diseases

Learning outcomes of the course unit

The ability acquired by training in pathophysiological thinking and by practical experience and experiments on animals to understand the basis of frequent pathological conditions and diseases.

Knowledge at secondary school level and of completed subjects in the study area

Course curriculum

Instruction will proceed from general pathological processes to special pathophysiological states. In practical instruction the dynamics of some pathological conditions will be demonstrated on animal models.

To explain the basic principles of ethiopathological thinking with regard to diseases and pathological states.
