Civil engineering structures analysis
FAST-DD55Acad. year: 2009/2010
Advanced view of modern methods of static and dynamic response analysis regarding bar, plane, monolithic, and foundation structures (concentrating on the problems of the thesis work themes), presentation of the latest findings of the structural mechanics and numerical mechanics, theory of reliability and the theory of the load carrying structures made of concrete, steel, wood, bricks, etc. Analysis of the modern civil engineering technologies in regards of their demands on the static conditions. Use of the software products in the field of static and dynamic of the load-carrying structures, presentation of manuals of the available programs, development of the computational models and the analysis of the current problems. Presentation of the results of the scientific grant projects held at the Faculty of Civil Engineering in the field of the load-bearing structures.
