Course detail
Insulation Materials
FAST-SJ01Acad. year: 2009/2010
The introductory content is formed by general problems of building insulations. The application of insulations in building object is solved systematically, especially from the heat-insulation, building acoustics and moisture conditions points of view. The special characteristics of separate building structure and the object types, is simultaneously respected and the typical properties of individual building materials groups are respected too. The production technologies of insulation materials are described, for instance the manufacture of roofing materials insulating against moisture and water and heat - technical and acoustical insulation materials. The basic laboratory testing methods for insulating materials are further discussed.
The tutorials have a laboratory and calculation character.
