Graphic design as a search for new forms of visual communication in the world of the information explosion and accelerating development of technologies for information storage and dissemination. Graphic design as a search for the original communicativeness of the natural language transformed to graphic signs and symbols, working with a message transcending the borders of this field. Graphic design as a study of advanced technologies, historic excursions, as a search for continuity and present-day expression.

Aims
- independent thinking, creative and original approach to typography, to the concept of book and to all artefacts under the label "visual communication"
- using the knowledge of history and contemporary art (obtained in theoretic subjects) in the form of inspiration, instruction and continuity
- development of the ability of excellent figural, scientific and stylized drawing, along with the knowledge of basic drawing, painting and graphic techniques
