Creation of indoor climate of heated rooms formed under variable conditions and dynamically changing heating losses. One-pipe central heating systems and their design. Radiant heating. Design of integrated interaction system including heating elements, fittings and piping based on thermal and hydraulic balance. Circulation pumps. Design of boilers room, heat transfer stations and combined production of electricity and heat.

Aims
Professional Knowledge
The student understands advanced principles of creating indoor environmental conditions in heated spaces under variable operating conditions. The student understands the principles of one-pipe and radiant heating systems, hydraulic and thermal balancing, circulation pumps and heat source design.
Professional Skills
The student is able to design one-pipe and radiant heating systems, perform their hydraulic and thermal balancing, and design circulation pumps. The student is able to develop basic designs of boiler rooms, substations and combined heat and power generation systems.
Professional Competence
The student is able to independently design and assess advanced heating systems, taking into account dynamic operating conditions and the interaction of their individual components.
