Aims
Professional Knowledge
The student understands the principles of primary and secondary energy sources, renewable energy sources and their use in buildings. The student understands the principles of converting solar, geothermal, wind and water energy, as well as the use of biomass, waste heat and combined heat and power generation.
Professional Skills
The student is able to design basic systems using renewable and secondary energy sources, determine their energy performance and assess their impact on the building's energy performance. The student is able to perform a basic economic assessment of the proposed solution.
Professional Competence
The student is able to independently design an appropriate solution for the use of renewable and secondary energy sources in a building, taking into account its energy needs, technical possibilities and economic efficiency.
