The structure of the subject is based on the life cycle of the project. We will go through the phases of the project and the practical methods of the project will explain the methods used in the given stages. Students will understand individual project management methods and will know when to use this method. It is related to the understanding of the input information that is necessary for the construction of the given methods and what they are doing in the project. Content of the International Project Management Organization (IPMA), Project Management Institute (PMI) Project in Controlled Environment (PRINCE2).

Rules for evaluation and completion of the course
To complete the exercises it is necessary to elaborate the team semestral work and presentation. The exam is a form of test in combination with a case study solution.Students with an individual study plan have the same conditions.Attendance at the lectures is not obligatory, but it is recommended because the explanation will directly link the content of the exercises. Attendance at seminars is required. Students present the partial outputs of the semester work.
Aims
The aim of the course is to teach students to understand the terminology of project management based on the company's strategy to determine project objectives. Project objectives are determined for the purpose of innovation changes directly support the company's strategic objectives. Another goal is to teach students the tools and techniques of project management areas of contextual, technical and behavioral, which is necessarily for work of the project manager.Students will understand the complexity of project management and the need to use its methods in the implementation of projects in enterprises. They realize how important it is to set the target and project boundaries at the outset, project success criteria, define stakeholders and their requirements. It will clarify the basic principles of project management, familiarize with the methods and understand the processes of project management.

1 week Introduction to project management (basic terminology, concepts and definitions; project characteristics; project life cycle; project types; project within a permanent organization; project management standards).
2-3 weeks Pre-project phase (project objectives and benefits; project triple imperative; identification and analysis of stakeholders).
4-5 weeks Project initiation phase (SMART objectives; project logical framework - benefits, objectives, key products, activities, assumptions and risks of successful implementation, setting project metrics and resources; risk identification).
6-9 weeks Project planning phase (WBS; Gantt chart method; network analysis - edge-valued graphs and node-valued graphs, types of reserves, CPM and PERT method, optimization, activity evaluation; resource and cost analysis; risk analysis - risk, threat, scenario, types of risks, risk management processes, risk analysis methods, typical risk reduction measures).
Week 10-11 Project management phase (project implementation and monitoring; communication management; EVM value analysis; change management; risk monitoring; project crises and conflicts).
Week 12-13 Project closure and post-project phase (project closure; project sustainability; project outputs; project documentation).
