German for Beginners 2

The course is intended for beginners and aims to review and develop students´ language skills (listening, reading, writing and speaking) at the elementary level of general German (A1 higher according to the CEFR).

Grammar: present tense, verbs with separable prefixes, word order, prepositions of time, accusative, positive and negative questions and ja/nein/doch, modal verbs, past tense (Perfekt)

Vocabulary: my day, telling the time, times of the day, arranging a date, the weather, free time and hobbies, skills and abilities, past time expressions

Rules for evaluation and completion of the course

The course is worth 2 credits. To get their credits ("zápočet"), students are required to participate actively in class (attendance) and complete the individual teacher´s assignments.

Aims

Having completed the course, students will be able to use the present and past tenses as well as modal verbs and they will also be able to communicate in elementary everyday situations.
Target level according to the CEFR: A1 higher.
