  2. Complete all required homework assignments.
  3. During Week 13, students prepare a 3–5 minute presentation on any topic covered during the course. To qualify for the final grade, students must pass the course final exam. The final exam grade is the overall course grade.

Completion for Students with Individual Study Plans*

  • Same requirements as above.
  • If personal attendance is not possible, an alternative assignment may be arranged with the instructor.

*An Individual Study Plan is subject to agreement between the student and the head of department and requires exceptional circumstances.

Completion Based on International Certificate

Instead of taking English Language B2, students may present one of the following internationally recognised certificates, completed within the last five years: CAE or CPE. Other certificates are not accepted.

Completion Based on an Exam at a Foreign University

A course completed within the Erasmus programme at a foreign university that corresponds in content and level to English Language B2 and includes a final exam may be recognised as equivalent.

Aims

The aim of the course is to develop students’ ability to use English independently and fluently at the B2 CEFR level. Emphasis is placed on building the four core language skills—speaking, listening, reading, and writing—through practical tasks and communicative activities in both general and business contexts.
