  2. Conceptual modeling and database design, data models, E/R diagrams.
  3. Transformation of data model into relational database tables.
  4. Dependency theory, normal forms.
  5. Relational algebra, SQL language (DDL, DML).
  6. Internal data organization, indexing, hashing.
  7. Transaction processing.
  8. Web databases (PHP + MySQL).
  9. Mircosoft Access database system – exercises.

Aims

Theory of relation database systems. Creation tables of relations, queries. Basic of SQL language.
Ability to design a single database in MS Access.
