Studio of Virtual Creativity I

FSI-YV1Acad. year: 2026/2027

The subject focuses on creative graphic work using a specific product example. Practical training in creative ways to present a given product. Correct understanding of the essence of the product's function and selection of appropriate presentation tools to create a coherent whole. The resulting presentation method design will respect current standards, but also less common methods of creation with potential for the future. The output is a graphic portfolio of the product and a basic virtual presentation.

It builds on knowledge from the courses Product Photography, Computer Graphics I, Computer Graphics II, Computer Modelling and Visualisation I.

Rules for evaluation and completion of the course

Requirements for graded course units:

  • active participation in classes (min. 5 out of 10 points),
  •  submission of assigned tasks by the specified deadlines (min. 45 out of 90 points).

The final grade will be determined according to the ECTS scale.

Classes: attendance is mandatory and monitored by the instructor; a maximum of two absences are permitted. In the case of long-term absence, the course guarantor is responsible for making up for missed classes.

Aims

The subject leads students to the basic theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary to master drawing. Attention is paid to drawing geometric objects and products in perspective view according to the model. The work proceeds from the elementary sketch depicting the basic structure to the final representation of the model. The practiced method of correct recording of reality is the reduction of the source object into basic geometric figures, taking into account the principles of perspective representation.
