Rules for evaluation and completion of the course
Attendance at the practical sessions is compulsory and subject to assessment. The scope of the assessed teaching and the method by which it is carried out are determined annually by the course coordinator and communicated to students by the lecturers. This involves completing set exercises, along with the deadlines for their submission and assessment.
The exam will consist of a written and an oral part. The exam paper will contain three questions; there will be no time limit for answering them, though it generally takes no more than 60 minutes to complete. As part of the assessment of the oral part of the examination, the assessment of the written part will be explained and supplementary questions will be asked. The examination will be graded according to the ECTS scale as set out in the BUT Study and Examination Regulations.
