Aims
Professional Knowledge: The student understands the theoretical principles of steady-state and transient heat conduction, convection, radiation, phase transitions, and thermodynamic states of water vapor in building services engineering applications.
Professional Skills: The student can analytically and numerically solve heat transfer and conduction problems in planar and cylindrical structures, convective heat exchange, and phase changes within building services systems.
Professional Competences: The student is qualified to independently evaluate and optimize the thermal performance of building structures and HVAC/building services components for energy-efficient design and operation.
