The course is designed to teach English as a foreign language at a general level, with an additional focus on English for Specific Purposes (ESP). It emphasizes Project-Based Learning (PBL) approach.
Most students who take this course enjoy the blended learning method based on student centered approach in which students learn about a subject by working in groups to solve an open-ended problems concerning studies and sport technology topics. It helps students to develop the critical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities they need for academic study and success.

The course will build upon the language skills students have acquired in secondary school, expanding them in the context of ESP and academic topics, with a particular focus on sports technology, enhancing their previous course called English skills

Aims
The course will build upon the language skills students have acquired in secondary school, expanding them in the context of academic topics. The primary aim of the course is to enhance students' competencies and skills in English for Specific Purposes (ESP) at the B2 level of the CEFR. The course places particular emphasis on Project-Based Learning (PBL) skills. (Students spend sustained periods of study time exploring and solving real-work problems.)
Students will consolidate general vocabulary and grammar structures relevant to the workplace at an intermediate level, further extending these in the context of academic discussions and presentations. Cooperation and the final project is a mandatory component of the course.
