This course develops students’ core language competencies at the B2 CEFR level with a particular focus on business-related contexts. While drawing on the framework of the international First Certificate in English (FCE) examination, the course prioritizes the practical use of English in academic and professional settings.
Through interactive lessons, students will enhance their communication skills, expand their specialist business vocabulary, and consolidate grammatical knowledge, enabling them to use English effectively and confidently in workplace and study environments.

Rules for evaluation and completion of the course
Standard Course Completion
A minimum of 70 points is required to successfully complete the course.

Students’ attendance in the course is systematically monitored.

Completion for Students with Individual Study Plans
Completion Based on International CertificateInstead of taking English Language B2, students may present one of the following internationally recognised certificates, completed within the last five years: CAE or CPE. Other certificates are not accepted.
Completion Based on an Exam at a Foreign UniversityA course completed within the Erasmus programme at a foreign university that corresponds in content and level to English Language B2 and includes a final exam may be recognised as equivalent.
Aims
The aim of the course is to develop students’ ability to use English independently and fluently at the B2 CEFR level. Emphasis is placed on building the four core language skills—speaking, listening, reading, and writing—through practical tasks and communicative activities in both general and business contexts.

Syllabus
