Selected Chapters from Building Constructions 2

The course is focused on certain building types in the field of building design and special requirements put onto the structures of those building. Students are to learn about garages and parking places, single storey buildings, chosen commercial and agricultural buildings, and at last also about wooden houses. Students are to receive knowledge regarding architectural, typological and structural viewpoints of previously mentioned building types.

- 3. Design of a single storey building’s facade from metal cladding.
- 4. Assembly drawings regarding the metal cladding of the single storey building.
- 5. Detailed preliminary design of a commercial, industrial or agricultural building of choice.

- 7. Design of a wooden house at structural level.
- 8. Wall and flat roof composition design in a wooden house.

- 10. Submission and final evaluation of presented works.
