The course is understanding the nature of the data from various sources and to gain knowledge allowing them to analyze and process skills, including presentation in an appropriate form for management decision support.

Rules for evaluation and completion of the course

Course completion

Conditions for graded credit: The student must obtain at least 50% of the possible maximum points during the semester, i.e. 15 points out of 30. If plagiarism or unauthorized cooperation on projects or the mid-term test is discovered, the credit will not be granted and disciplinary proceedings may be considered. Mid-term test - preparation of a practical task according to the assignment. There is no make-up date. (max. 9 points). Participation in the test is mandatory. To obtain graded credit, it is necessary to obtain at least 3 points from the test.

Project preparation - one project according to the assignment with the relevant documentation. Students are introduced to the assignment in the third lecture. (max. 21 points). Submission and defense of the project in the credit week.

Course completion for students with individual study:

Project preparation - one project according to the assignment with the relevant documentation. The assignment will be displayed in e-learning from the third week of the semester.

Attendance at the lecture and exercises is not mandatory.
