Practical Experience

Internship 1 is a mandatory component of the study program, lasting 75 hours during the summer semester of the 2nd year.
Students are responsible for organizing and scheduling their own internship. The internship is designed to familiarize students with the real business environment, the information systems used, and ICT tools.
Students must provide proof of their completed internship with a confirmation document.
The condition for earning the credit is to submit a PowerPoint presentation covering the following:
- The business activity
- The organizational structure, including its relationships to higher organizational units
- Description of information flows within the company
- Evaluation of the company's information technologies (hardware, software, data files, information transfer, data protection, etc.)
- Problems the company most frequently encounters in its daily operations, along with potential solutions
- Description of the work activities within the company

Aims
Acquainted with the organizational structure, its relationship to a higher organizational unit and business activities, a description of the information flow within the company
PowerPoint presentation on the following questions:
1. Legal form, organizational structure, or its relations to the higher organizational unit.
2. The subject of the business, the strengths and weaknesses of the company, the options and opportunities of the company due to the business
3. Information system of the company and information flows in the company.
4. Information technology used in the company (hardware, software, data files, transfer of information, data protection, etc.).
5. With such problems in the field of ICT, the company often faces during normal operation?
6. A description of the work activity in the company.
7. The focus of the projected solutions of the bachelor thesis.
