Theory of concrete and masonry structures
FAST-DL61Acad. year: 2024/2025
General aspects of design methods of concrete and masonry structures. Physically non-linear behaviour of structures for different stresses. Probabilistic method in designing. Geometric non-linear behaviour of structures. The effects of deformation stresses. Design of structures using specific methods with respect to the non-linear properties and a model of structure as a composite setting. Modelling time-dependent phenomena. Modern methods of design of selected concrete and masonry structures - foundation structure, special building and engineering structures. Optimisation of design of concrete and masonry structures. Influence and importance of details of designed structure on complete technical solution.
