Italian for Pre-Intermediate Students -exam

Subjects VYI001-VYI004 are offered to students to gain the required knowledge and skills. Students need to know the contents of Nuovo Espresso 1 a 2. The exam is divided into 2 parts. The written part tests the knowledge of grammar and vocabulary, then the reading, listening and writing skills; the speaking part of the exam examines the ability to talk shortly on the topics discussed in the above mentioned subjects and to answer the questions.

Entry knowledge

In order to be prepared for the exam, students should master grammar and vocabulary of Nuovo progetto italiano book. Their language skills (reading, listening, writing and speaking) should be on the pre-intermediate level.
Grammar: conjunction of regular and irregular verbs, rexlexive verbs, past tenses "il passato prossimo" and "l´imperfetto", future tense, personal independent pronouns
Vocabulary: introducing, basic information about myself, family, free time, hobbies, orientation in the city, means of transport, shopping, appearance, clothes, characteristics of people, seasons, weather
