Problems of thermal comfort in buildings. Types of water heating systems. Heat losses for buildigs and heat balance. Type of radiators. Heat sources and their space arrangement. Boiler rooms of the central heating. Hydraulics of heating systems.

Entry knowledge

Basic knowledge about constructional systems of buildings, fundamentals of hydromechanics, fundamentals of water supply and sewerage, basic theoretic knowledge of direct and alternating current, fundamentals of heat transfer.

1. Principles of sanitary equipment design. 2. Sorts of waste waters and designing of drainage systems inside buildings. 3. Water sources for water supply for buildings. Water supply systems and their designing. 4. Domestic hot water supply systems. Equipment for fire-water supply. 5. Fuel gas properties. Gas installation for buildings. 6. Building electric wiring installation, artificial lighting. 7. Electrical service connections, lightning conductors. 8. Problems of designing of thermal comfort in building, overview of heating systems, choice and design. 9. Heat losses of buildings and heat balance. 10. Determination of type and size of radiators. 11. Heat sources and their dispositional arrangement. 12. Equipment of boiler rooms. 13. Pipes sizing of heat systems.

1. Assignment. Site plan. Drainage – plan of typical floors, section view of fixture drains and stacks. 2. Drainage – plan of basement, pipes sizing. 3. Water installation – plans of typical floor and basement. 4. Water installation – pipe sizing. Gas installation - plan of typical floor. 5. Gas installation – plan of basement, axonometric scheme, pipe sizing. 6. Plan of electrical lighting circuits and electrical service connection. 7. Plan of electrical socket circuits. 8. Heat losses of buildings and heat balance. 9. Overview of heating systems, choice and design. 10. Determination of type and size of radiators. 11. Heat sources and their dispositional arrangement. 12. Equipment of boiler rooms. 13. Submitting of design, credit.
