Course detail
Building Information Models – Designing
FSI-ICAAcad. year: 2024/2025
The lectures provide the student with the knowledge of hardware and software, which is necessary for the computer design of heating and air-conditioning equipment. Workshops enable the student to practically test these systems via solving specific tasks.
CAD, together with more advanced software, is used to design heating and air-conditioning equipment.

Entry knowledge
Basic knowledge of working with PC under MS Windows operating system. Knowledge of working with CAD.
Rules for evaluation and completion of the course
Written test via eLearning 10 questions (maximum 20 points) and project presentation 10 points. Submitted heating project in CAD with calculation report (maximum 70 points). Credit will be awarded subject to achieving at least more than 50 points.
During the semester, work on the project is continuously monitored.
Aims
The student will learn to routinely work with AutoCAD REVIT, AutoCAD REVIT MEP, and CADKON / 2D and CADKON / MEP. The student will gain practical experience in the designer of heating and air conditioning.
