Academic Work Proseminar

Academic Work Proseminar will provide students with an introduction to the principles of professional activity in the field of research and the basics of professional writing and presentation of the results of scientific work with regard to its ethical dimension. Emphasis is placed on expert information sources with emphasis on adherence to copyright requirements. Practical surveys and analyses will also be part of the seminar. The seminar is intended to create a theoretical basis for the practical design phase and practice.
Students will be led to the profiling of their own research and their own areas of interest, to the preparation and processing of analytical and synthetic parts of scientific work, to critical thinking and written and verbal presentation of scientific results and their discussion.

Rules for evaluation and completion of the course

Students are evaluated on the basis of a submitted paper and its presentation in the final seminar. Students submit the text according to the specific assignment; 80% of the total mark consists of written work, 20% of its presentation.
