Rules for evaluation and completion of the course

The assessment consists of submitted project (60 %) and a credit test (40 %). The project includes floor plans and sections of a selected object from a different course, ideally the concurrent design studio. Students are required to work continuously. The credit test verifies student ability to apply the acquired skills.
Students are required to participate in 80 % of practicals at minimum. The absences cannot be compensated, but in case of serious reasons they can be excused.
In the case of a student's apology and with approval of the course guarantor, personal participation may be substituted with online participation in the lesson.

Aims

The course enables students to master the methods how to elaborate individually a 2D drawings and documentation of architectural design.
  • Students will learn the basic methods for 2D drawing using a CAD system.
  • Students will be introduced to the basic differences of various CAD systems.
  • Students will master computer production of 2D drawings and documentation of architectural designs.
  • Students will master computer production of 2D technical building documentation.
  • Student will have a good command of the environment of Rhinoceros 7.
