Personality Development and Self-knowledge

After completing the course, students should be able to: - using psychodiagnostic methods to determine the basic personality characteristics, - formulate according to personality assumptions (temperament, personality character, personality needs) the needs of the athlete or client for sports practice - analyse the social situations in which they participate or which they manage through sports technology and should be able to reflect their role in shaping them

Rules for evaluation and completion of the course

Offset based on active participation in teaching, i.e. regular attendance with registration in the attendance register (there are 2 non-excused participations allowed). In accordance with Directive 17/2019 In order to teach physical education, the subject is evaluated with one credit. The course concludes with a written test.
Regular attendance with registration in the attendance register, allowed 2 non-excused absences, excuses orally for absences in advance directly in the lesson or by email in advance but no later than 24.0 hours after the lesson deadline.

Aims

The aim of this course is to familiarise students with current personal approaches and themes of personality and social psychology and, above all, the application of these approaches to sports technology issues and to students' specific experiences. The focus of the subject is mainly discussions and practical exercises. Part of the subject is self-recognition through psychological approaches and psychodiagnostic methods, personality and relationship cognition, and the basics of group cooperation.
