History of Architecture 2

Knowledge of the Middle Ages architecture, from the ancient Christians, over the Byzantine and Islamic architecture, the Pre-Romanesque architecture, the Old Slavonic architecture, the European and the Czech Romanesque and Gothic architecture to the most outstanding Middle Ages building complexes; development of the art of construction in relation to the social and economic background and the stage of technological development.

Aims
Student will manage the goal of the subject, i.e. knowledge of the history of architecture, the ancient Christians, the Byzantine and Islamic architecture, the Pre-Romanesque architecture, the Romanesque architecture, the Gothic in foreign countries, the Gothic in the Czech lands.
