Hydrotechnical Structure Project

Design of selected hydrotechnical structure in the form of project documentation.
The project includes:
- conceptual design of hydrotechnical construction,
- design calculations (static, hydrotechnical, hydro-energetic),
- design of a technical solution of hydrotechnical construction,
- preparation of construction drawings,
- processing of text attachments of the project (accompanying and technical report),
- preparation of the presentation of the proposed solution,
- extending practical knowledge with the use of appropriate software.

Entry knowledge

Basic knowledge in the field of water management and waterworks, which include hydraulics, statics, river hydraulics and water treatment, weirs, dams, hydro power utilization, CAD drawings.

Aims

The ability to analyze a given problem, overview about necessary documents and about principles of project processing, the ability to use modern computer technology within the project, the orientation in actual technical standards associated with the design.

Student complete goal of this course which include developing of principle of project elaboration and through execution of a term project.

1. Getting with the current state of the area of interest and conceptual design of the structure. 2.–4. Realization of design calculations and processing of their documentation. 5.–8. Construction design of building objects and operational files. 9.–10. Drawing documentation of building objects and operational files. 11–12. Processing of accompanying and technical reports. 13. Project presentation.
