Course detail
Design of Concrete and Masonry Structures Exposed to Fire
FAST-NLB033Acad. year: 2023/2024
Effects of fire on reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete and masonry structures.
Determination of mechanical and physical properties of concrete, steel reinforcement and masonry at increased temperatures.
Methods for verification of fire resistance of concrete elements and structures. Design of reinforced concrete and masonry members on the effects of fire by simplified calculation methods. Selected design problems (high-strength concrete and thin-walled elements, shear resistance).
